Directions to Bricket Wood Paintball

From the North

From the M1, Junction 6 Southbound
The sliproad is a very tight bend, about 100yds down the slip road you will need to turn right on to mount pleasant lane. Follow this road for about 400yds until you reach your first mini round about, here you must turn left in to west riding. Follow this road for about 400yds at the top of west riding the road will bend sharply to the right follow this road for a further 100yds. At the unmarked cross roads, turn left into lye lane, follow lye lane for a further 300yds until you have crossed the first bridge for the M25, our entrance is the first gate on the right next to the communications tower.

From St Albans
Leave St Albans on the A405 (North Orbital Road) towards the M25 and Watford. As you approach Bricket Wood and just before the M25, you will come to a roundabout with a Shell petrol station and the Thistle Hotel on it. Take the first exit signed Watford and M25. Almost immediately as you come off the roundabout, Lye Lane is on the left-hand side. Turn left into here. The paintball site is located behind the grounds of Bricket Wood Country Club a few hundred metres along this lane on the left. Please take care when driving along the lane as it is very narrow, and also please note we have our own gate to the paintball park do not try to gain access via the country club gates .If you drive over the top of the M25, you have gone too far!

From the South

From The M1 Northbound
As you come off the slip road it will put you on the A405 towards St Albans. Go straight over the roundabout that straddles the M25 following signs for St Albans. At the next roundabout (clearly identifiable by the Thistle Hotel and a shell petrol Station) you need to do a U-turn and head back towards to the M25. Almost immediately as you come off the roundabout, Lye Lane is on the left-hand side. Turn left into here. The paintball site is located behind the grounds of Bricket Wood Country Club a few hundred metres along this lane on the left. Please take care when driving along the lane as it is very narrow, and also please note we have our own gate to the paintball park do not try to gain access via the country club gates. If you drive over the top of the M25, you have gone too far!

From Watford
From Watford drive towards St Albans on the A405. You will go under the M1 and then at the next roundabout go straight across to rejoin the A405 to St Albans. Follow this road until the next roundabout (clearly identifiable by the Thistle Hotel and shell petrol station) at this roundabout you need to do a u-turn back onto the A405 towards the M25. Almost immediately after exiting the roundabout, Lye Lane appears on the left. Turn into this road. The paintball site is located in the grounds of Bricket Wood Country Club on the left a couple of hundred metres along this lane. If you cross over the M25 again, you have gone too far.

From the West

From the M25 Eastbound (Clockwise)
If you are driving to Bricket Wood and using the M25 you need to exit at junction 21a. At the top of the sliproad you will come to a roundabout that straddles the M25. Turn left and follow signs for St Albans (A405). At the next roundabout (clearly identifiable by the Thistle Hotel and the shell petrol station) you need to do a U-turn and head back towards to the M25. Almost immediately after exiting the roundabout, Lye Lane appears on the left. Turn into this road. The paintball site is located in the grounds of Bricket Wood Country Club on the left a couple of hundred metres along this lane. If you cross over the M25 again, you have gone too far.

From the M25 Westbound (Anti-Clockwise)
If you are driving to Bricket Wood and using the M25 you need to exit at junction 21a. At the top of the sliproad you will come to a roundabout that straddles the M25. Turn right and follow signs for St Albans (A405). At the next roundabout (clearly identifiable by the Thistle Hotel and the shell petrol station) you need to do a U-turn and head back towards to the M25. Almost immediately after exiting the roundabout, Lye Lane appears on the left. Turn into this road. The paintball site is located in the grounds of Bricket Wood Country Club on the left a couple of hundred metres along this lane. If you cross over the M25 again, you have gone too far.
